When I met Ben at The Company Picnic, we joked that he might have once been my TA for CS312. We both agreed that we couldn’t remember whether this was true. Well, apparently his inbox remembers:
So yes, this is me in 2002, pleading for Ben to accept an assignment that was 37 seconds late. Nearly a decade later, we’re working on the DCM app together.
In case anybody is horrified by the tyrants we seemed to be, the course staff did accept his slightly late submission.
(Although, given that he had the gall to use Microsoft Word for an assignment in a computer science class, I might have argued against that decision.)
