Once again, I find myself in a rush to complete my sketch class writing assignment. I find myself drawn to everything but the activity of writing a sketch. I sort of resent that I “have to” do this when I could be working on any of a dozen open software projects right now. (Of course, when I don’t have a sketch writing assignment, my motivation to write software diminishes.)

Should I take this as a sign that writing is not for me?

  1. stephaniestreisand answered: Writing is for you! You’re a great writer. Procrastination is just for you too. That’s all.
  2. mir777 answered: Don’t know but I have essentially the same question. Eek!
  3. nicolemarietherese answered: No. Miles Klee once said that nobody likes writing, they just like having written. Hating it is part of what makes you know you’re a writer.
