I have a melody in my head. I’m pretty sure it’s from a recording by Sam Cooke. I can hum the notes clearly. I have a hazy idea of the lyrics: the chorus lines end in “start” or “apart” or “heart.” I think the chorus ends with “long ago she took my heart.” But it might be something else.
Shazam only recognizes recordings, not humming. Am I screwed?
