Watching on Ustream because I literally forgot this was happening today, and stayed up til 4am working on something unrelated. I feel guilty that I’m not participating.

A lot of the rationale used to arrest protestors has to do with blocking access to public spaces; i.e., on private property you’re trespassing, on public property you’re preventing other people access (supposedly). I wonder if and how any of the law has changed since the 1960s.

The NYSE’s trading floor on Wall Street is kind of an anachronism; most stock is traded on computers these days. NASDAQ, the other major exchange, doesn’t even have a trading floor. NYSE only keeps it in operation because it’s been in operation for so long.
